Just alittle coffee to go...
Ramblings of a "living in the Burbs" gal just trying to figure out my path through life. Thank goodness for Great Coffee, Dark Chocolate, Key West Sunsets and My Adorable Beloved...To enjoy along the way..

My America
I can hope and pray....someday we will improve our relations with each other. I love my America but I'm not happy with the direction of my country. And yes, I vote. But 50% of the people who vote disagree with me. I want all the meanness, belittling, and the lying to stop.

I've always known that "life is not fair" but this past election has left me with disappointment in the views and values of the American people. That outright lying and "making up" information and events is OK as long as you get your point across no matter who or how many people get hurt in the process. Watching the events this year is like a terrible accident where you don't want to see it but you just can't turn your eyes away and you are mesmerized by it. And yes, I do believe Washington has been broken for some time. Things for the overall benefit for the American people do not get done as smoothly and cost effective as possible. Money has power. And politicians have their hands in the cookie jar for their benefit not for the well being of the American people. I can only hope and pray we as a country will make it though all of this confusion and ugliness without too much damage for our future generations.

Peace
It was the best place on the ship for peace and quiet. I'm ready to go back there and escape from all the craziness.

Oh, my goodness. I need a better social life!
Ok...now I know I need to get out more. My parents brought me "kids" to adopt since I don't have any and they thought I might like some. Now mind you, I do not have any pets and I have only 4 plants. But they felt I needed them. They were kinda of cute about it. The kids were all comfy in a box with the yellow and white blanket my Dad made for them. I had to name them right away..Frick & Frack is the only thing I could think of on the spot. Here they are sitting in the living room. They do kinda scare me with those big eyes watching me. I hope my parents are happy...
